South Korea and six Central American countries began negotiations to sign a bilateral free trade treaty, as published by newspaper Processo on 20 September 2015.

The six Central American countries are: El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras.

Trade between South Korea and Central America has grown at an annual average rate of 16%, over the last 20 years, according to CAF (Development Bank of Latin America).

Los seis países de Centroamérica son: El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panamá, Guatemala, Nicaragua y Honduras

Los intercambios comerciales entre Corea del Sur y Centroamérica han crecido a un ritmo promedio del 16% anual en los últimos 20 años, según datos del CAF (Banco de desarrollo de América Latina).
