Comercial Mexicana, a supermarket chain, is close to completing the sale of 160 stores to Tiendas Soriana, for approximately USD 3bn, equivalent to MXN 44bn. The agreement could be finalized at the end of January 2015, according to media sources. However, Comercial Mexicana announced it is still in the process of analyzing strategic agreement alternatives, as announced on 17 January 2014.

La operadora de supermercados Comercial Mexicana está cerca de llegar a un acuerdo de venta con Tiendas Soriana para la adquisición de 160 tiendas por cerca de USD 3.000m, lo equivalente a unos MXN 44.000m. El acuerdo podría cerrarse a finales de enero de 2015, según diferentes medios de comunicación. A pesar de ello, Comercial Mexicana comunicó que sigue en proceso de analizar alternativas estratégicas de acuerdo con los que informó el 17 de enero del 2014. |
