Solunion, a Spain-based credit insurance company, announced its arrival in Panama in a press release issued on 9 October, 2015.

Thus, Spain-based insurance company Mapfre, which owns 50% of Solunion, will be able to provide credit insurance policies in Panama.

The opening is part of Solunion's growth strategy in Latin America, where it already launched operations in Uruguay (see related intel) and Peru in 2015.

Solunion, compañía española especializada en la gestión de seguros de crédito, ha anunciado su llegada a Panamá en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 9 de octubre de 2015.

De esta manera, Mapfre, aseguradora española y accionista al 50% en Solunion, podrá ofrecer pólizas de seguro de crédito en Panamá.

Esta apertura es parte de la estrategia de creciemiento de Solunion en Latinoamérica, donde ya ha lanzado operaciones en Uruguay (ver intel relacionado) y Perú en 2015.
