Sociedad de Inversiones Oro Blanco (BCS:ORO BLANCO), a Chile-based investment manager, announced the suspension of the sale process of its 88.64% stake in Sociedad de Inversiones Pampa Calichera (BCS:CALICH), in a filing published by regulator Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros on 15 December 2016. Oro Blanco informed that, after receiving and analyzing several offers from interested bidders (see related intel), its board reached the conclusion that none of those contributed to the company's social interest, so it decided not to carry on with the process. However, the board also noted it will continue seeking alternatives to improve the company's and its subsidiaries' financial position. The formal sale process began on 18 December 2015 (see related intel).

Sociedad de Inversiones Oro Blanco (BCS:ORO BLANCO), gestora de inversiones chilena, ha comunicado la suspensión del proceso de venta de su participación del 88,64% en Sociedad de Inversiones Pampa Calichera (BCS:CALICH), en un hecho relevante publicado por la Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros el 15 de diciembre de 2016. Oro Blanco ha informado que, tras recibir y analizar varias ofertas de empresas interesadas (ver intels relacionados), su directorio ha llegado a la conclusión de que ninguna de ellas contribuyen al interés social de la empresa, por lo que ha decidido no continuar con el proceso. No obstante, el directorio también ha señalado que seguirá buscando alternativas para mejorar la posición financiera de la empresa y la de sus filiales.
