The secretary of finance of Mexico, Ildefonso Guajardo, its Singaporean counterpart, Lim Hng Kiang, and a delegation of businesspeople from both countries met at the Mexico-Singapore Business Forum to analyze various investment opportunities, reported El Economista on 10 June, 2016. The event, held in Mexico City, gathered businesspeople from Mexico-based companies, such as Gruma, looking to study the expansion of its investments in Singapore in the food sector. Meanwhile, Singapore-based companies engaged in hotel operation, such as Banyan Tree Holdings (SGX:B58), announced they are currently negotiating 10 new tourist investment projects, which are already at an advanced stage, in Baja California, Cancun, and Nayarit.

El secretario de Economía de México, Ildefonso Guajardo, su homólogo de Singapur, Lim Hng Kiang, y una delegación de empresarios de ambos países se han reunido en el Foro de Negocios México-Singapur, con el objetivo de analizar diversas oportunidades de inversión, según ha informado El Economista el 10 de junio de 2016. El evento, realizado en Ciudad de México, ha reunido empresarios de empresas mexicanas como Gruma, con el objetivo de analizar la expansión de sus inversiones en Singapur en el sector de alimentación. Por su parte, empresas de Singapur dedicadas a la gestión hotelera, como Banyan Tree Holdings (SGX:B58), han anunciado que actualmente negocian 10 nuevos proyectos de inversión turística que ya están en una etapa avanzada en Baja California, Cancún y Nayarit. |
