Simmons Bedding Company, an Atlanta, US-based mattress manufacturer, entered the Colombian market with its brand Beautyrest, reported Portafolio on 2 March 2017, citing Beautyrest Colombia Commercial Manager Jaime Castellanos. The entry into Colombia is carried out through the marketing of Beautyrest's product portfolio in the stores of Colombia-based Muebles & Accesorios, with which the US-based company signed an alliance. However, Beautyrest Colombia also plans to market its mattresses through department stores, distributors, or stand-alone stores. Of the latter, three would open in 2017, in Bogota, Cali, and Medellin.

Simmons Bedding Company, fabricante de colchones con sede en Atlanta, Estados Unidos, ha entrado con su marca Beautyrest al mercado colombiano, ha publicado Portafolio el 2 de marzo de 2017, citando al gerente comercial de Beautyrest Colombia, Jaime Castellanos. La entrada en Colombia se realiza a través de la comercialización del portafolio de productos de Beautyrest en las tiendas de la empresa colombiana Muebles & Accesorios, con la que la empresa estadounidense ha firmado una alianza. No obstante, Beautyrest Colombia también planea comercializar los colchones mediante tiendas de departamento, distribuidores o locales propios.
