Sigdo Koppers (BCS:SK), a Santiago, Chile-based service provider for the mining industry, announced it will not continue to pursue the merger between its Belgium-based subsidiary, Magotteaux, and Australia-based Bradken (ASX:BKN) under the established terms, in a filing published by regulator Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros on 7 September, 2015. The company added the consortium it forms with Australia-based private equity firm CHAMP will maintain talks with Bradken to find another way to make the deal a reality. On 31 August, Sigdo announced negotiations with Bradken did not prosper (see related intel).

Sigdo Koppers (BCS:SK), prestadora de servicios a la industria minera con sede en Santiago de Chile, ha anunciado que no continuará considerando la fusión entre su filial belga Magotteaux y la australiana Bradken (ASX:BKN) en los términos previstos, en un hecho relevante publicado por la Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros el 7 de septiembre de 2015. La empresa ha agregado que el consorcio que conforma con la firma de private equity australiana CHAMP mantendrá conversaciones con Bradken para acordar otra manera de concretar la transacción. El 31 de agosto, Sigdo anunció que las negociaciones con Bradken no habían prosperado (ver intel relacionado). |
