Synopsis

The private investor network of Seed & Click, a Spain-based company engaged in facilitating funding, created the first business angel network for women in Spain, called SWAN, announced the company in a fact sheet issued on 27 July 2016.

The network is born to invigorate the market of women investors and increase their presence, given that, according to information from an Aeban report, only 8% of business angels in Spain are women.

SWAN will provide a selection of investment opportunities in domestic and international startups and will work to strengthen training and activities to promote women investors, using part of its revenue for social initiatives.

La red privada de inversores de Seed & Click, empresa española dedicada a facilitar financiación, ha creado la primera red de business angels para mujeres en España, denominada SWAN, según ha informado la propia compañía en un hecho informativo el 27 de julio de 2016.

Esta red nace con el objetivo de dinamizar el mercado de las mujeres inversoras y aumentar su presencia, ya que, según datos de un informe de Aeban, solo un 8% de los business angels en España son mujeres.

SWAN ofrecerá una selección de oportunidades de inversión en startups nacionales e internacionales, y trabajará para potenciar la formación y actividades para promover a la mujer inversora, revertiendo además parte de sus ingresos a iniciativas sociales.
