Sanitas, a Spain-based provider of health services, British United Provident Association (BUPA) (LSE:BUPF), a UK-based insurance company, Ribera Salud, a Spain-based healthcare services provider, and Comprnsar, a Colombia-based health services provider, may be interested in acquiring Cafesalud EPS, a Colombia-based health services provider, reported Portafolio on 19 January 2017, citing sources familiar with the matter.

According to the report, Cafesalud EPS, currently for sale, would put other assets on the block, such as EPS Cruz Blanca and Epsifarma and, to acquire the entity, the buyer must demonstrate financial solvency and experience in the provision of services for at least 1,500,000 members.

Specifically, the company already defined the regulations of the sale and added that, within two weeks, the data room is opening with the information for potential buyers to evaluate the situation and make their offers (see related intel).

La compañía, actualmente en venta, tendría en venta otros activos como la EPS Cruz Blanca y Epsifarma y, para adquirir la entidad, el comprador deberá acreditar solvencia económica y una experiencia en la prestación de servicios para por lo menos 1.500.000 afiliados.

En concreto, la compañía ya ha definido el reglamento de venta y en febrero abrirá el cuarto de datos con toda la información para que los potenciales compradores valoren la situación y hagan sus ofertas (ver Intels relacionados).
