Resource IT, a Sao Paulo-based software integration company, appointed Paulo Marcelo as new CEO, reported Valor Econômico on 19 December 2016. Paulo Marcelo is CEO of Capgemini Brasil and will start its activities at Resource IT on 10 January 2017. He will replace Gilmar Batistela, who will be the Chairman of the Board. The governance change is part of a global growth plan. Resource IT aims to reach BRL 1bn annually by 2021. The company is evaluating partnerships with startups or the sale of a minority stake to investment funds to expand overseas presence. The plan also considers an IPO to the next three years.

A Resource IT, empresa de integração de softwares com sede em São Paulo, será comandada por Paulo Marcelo a partir de 10 de janeiro de 2017, de acordo com publicação do Valor Econômico em 19 de dezembro de 2016. Paulo Marcelo é atualmente CEO da Capgemini Brasil e deixará a empresa para subistituir o fundador da Resource IT, Gilmar Batistela, que passa a dirigir o conselho de administração. A mudança no comando é acompanhada de um plano global de crescimento da Resource IT que visa atingir receita de BRL 1bi anual até 2021. A empresa avalia parcerias com startups ou a venda de uma fatia minoritária a fundos de investimento para expandir a presença no exterior. O plano prevê ainda a listagem na bolsa de valores no período de três anos. |
