Russia state-owned company ROSATOM sees business opportunities in the Brazilian nuclear energy segment, as published by newspaper Valor Econômico on 3 June 2015, quoting Assistant Director-General and International Area Officer, Kirill Komarov.

According to Komarov, "If Brazil is prepared to allow foreign investment, including private, in the nuclear energy sector, we will be ready to participate, because the energy price level in Brazil is very high. This economically enables projects, including those related to nuclear energy construction ". And he adds, "Brazil has many experienced companies in the nuclear energy sector. We think that a cooperation agreement with ROSATOM is possible, as an investor in the construction of new plants."

De acordo com Kirill Komarov, "Se o Brasil estiver preparado para permitir investimento estrangeiro, incluindo privado, no setor de energia nuclear, nós estaremos prontos para participar, porque o nível do preço de energia no Brasil é muito alto.
