Synopsis

Spain-based RIU Hotels & Resorts will exit Tunisia, following the jihadist attack in June 2015, in which 38 tourists were killed, as reported by Spanish newspaper El Mundo on 22 September 2015.

El Mundo also informed that, according to Tunisian Radio Shems FM, RIU Hotels & Resorts agreed to indemnify its employees according to Tunisian labor law, and compensate its partners for breach of operation and management contract.

La empresa española RIU Hotels & Resorts cesará su actividad en Túnez a raíz del atentado yihadista de junio de 2015, en el que murieron 38 turistas, según ha señalado el diario español El Mundo en una información del 22 de septiembre de 2015.

El Mundo recoge también que, según la radio tunecina Shems FM, RIU Hotels & Resorts ha aceptado indemnizar a sus trabajadores según los parámetros de la ley laboral tunecina, y compensar a sus socios por la ruptura de los contratos de explotación y gestión.
