According to the news, Qualicorp moved three of its companies to Barueri, São Paulo state. With this, the ISS rate fell from 5% to 1%, generating savings of BRL 25m in taxes. Moreover, Qualicorp recorded tax benefits from goodwill of future profitability of the company's transactions.

A Qualicorp (BVMF:QUAL3), que se dedica a administrar, gerir e vender planos de saúde coletivos empresariais, teve lucro líquido de BRL 194m no 1º Trimestre de 2016, um salto quatro vezes maior frente aos BRL 41,7m obtidos no mesmo período do ano anterior, segundo publicou o Valor Econômico em 11 de maio de 2016, citando uma publicação da empresa. Segundo a notícia, a Qualicorp mudou três de suas empresas para Barueri no estado de São Paulo. Com isso, a alíquota de ISS caiu de 5% para 1%, gerando uma economia de BRL 25m em tributos. Além disso, a Qualicorp registrou benefícios fiscais provenientes do ágio da rentabilidade futura de transações da empresa. |
