PowerChina, a Beijing-based hydraulic power services provider, and Jan De Nul, a Luxembourg-based construction company, may be interested in acquiring a majority stake in Navelena, a Colombia-based operator of the project of recovery of navigability of the Magdalena river, reported El Heraldo on 23 January 2017, citing sources familiar. In addition to China Power and Juan De Nul, Cormagdalena, a government entity in charge of the project, noted that FCC, controlled by Mexico-based Grupo Carso (BMV:GCARSO), and Ideal, a company owned by Carlos Slim, also expressed their interested in the project, which will require an investment of USD 857m (see related intel). Navelena has until 25 February 2017 to close the transaction.

PowerChina, prestadora de servicios en energía hidráulica, y Jan De Nul, empresa de construcción con sede en Luxemburgo, habrían manifestado su interés en adquirir la participación mayoritaria de Navelena, empresa colombiana que lleva a cabo el proyecto de recuperación de navegabilidad del río Magdalena, según ha informado El Heraldo el 23 de enero de 2017, citando fuentes cercanas al asunto. Además de China Power y Juan De Nul, Cormagdalena, la entidad gubernamental encargada del proyecto, ha manifestado en octubre de 2016, que FCC, del Grupo Carso (BMV:GCARSO), e Ideal, empresas mexicanas de Carlos Slim, también han manifestado interés en el proyecto en el que se requerirá una inversión de USD 857m, aproximadamente (ver Intel relacionado). Hasta el 25 de febrero de 2017 tiene plazo Navelena para cerrar la operación.
