Portuguese shopping centers could be attractive to investors, mainly foreign, and some may be sold this year, according to real estate consulting firm Cushman & Wakefield.

The company's CEO, Eric Van Leuven, when showing 2014's financial statements, said that company believes there are some shopping centers that could be sold. The company did not disclose which will be the properties that could be sold, but explained it would be shopping centers with a good number of visitants and sales as well has high profitability, which means it will not be malls under bank's management or in bankruptcy.

Os centros comerciais portugueses estão na mira de investidores, principalmente estrangeiros, e alguns podem ser vendidos já este ano, estima a consultora imobiliária Cushman & Wakefield.

O diretor-geral da empresa, Eric Van Leuven, na apresentação dos resultados de 2014, afirmou que a empresa pensa que haverá alguns centros comerciais que serão colocados no mercado este ano. A companhia não revela, contudo, quais os empreendimentos em causa mas explica que se tratam de centros comerciais com bons números de visitantes e vendas e ainda elevadas rentabilidades, ou seja, não são shoppings que estão nas mãos da banca ou em situação de insolvência.
