A Portugal Ventures, firma de venture capital pública com sede no Porto, vai absorve Startup Portugal e passará a ser responsável pela estratégia nacional de empreendedorismo, segundo publicou o Jornal de Negócios em 27 de maio de 2016. De acordo com a publicação, a Portugal Ventures deixa de ser apenas um veículo de investimento e passa a ser também a missão de fomentar o ecossistema nacional de empreendedorismo. Atrair investidores estrangeiros para Portugal e apoiar as start-ups portuguesas na sua internacionalização estejam, ou não, no portefólio da sociedade capital de risco são, nomeadamente, algumas das funções que a sociedade pública vai ter. |
