Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), a pharmaceutical company based in New York, could be selling Laboratório Teuto, as published by newspaper Exame on 16 June 2016. According to the news, the current partners, Pfizer and the Melo family, hired Goldman Sachs and BTG Pactual as advisors in this transaction. In 2010, Pfizer acquired a 40% stake in Laboratório Teuto (see related transaction) for BRL 400m, and had the right to acquire the remaining stake until 2017, but the company decided the best option would be to sell, according to the news.

A Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), farmacêutica com sede em Nova Iorque, estaria vendendo o Laboratório Teuto, segundo publicou a Exame no dia 16 de junho de 2016. De acordo com a noticia, os atuais sócios são a farmacêutica americana, a Pfizer e a família Melo, contrataram o Goldman Sachs e o BTG Pactual para coordenar a possível operação. Em 2010, os americanos compraram 40% do Laboratório Teuto (ver transação relacionada) por BRL 400m e tinham o direito de comprar o restante até 2017, mas decidiram que o melhor negócio é mesmo vender, segundo a notícia. |
