Synopsis

EP Petroecuador, a Quito, Ecuador-based state-owned oil company, and Petroperú, a Lima, Peru-based state-run oil company, signed a cooperation agreement in the hydrocarbons sector, announced Petroecuador in a press release issued on 20 December 2016.

Specifically, the companies signed an agreement for the exchange of knowledge and good practices in the hydrocarbon sector, with a validity of five years and the possibility of renewing it for two similar periods.

The agreement was signed by Petroperu President Luis Eduardo García Rosell and Petroecuador CEO Pedro Merizal de Pavón.

EP Petroecuador, petrolera estatal ecuatoriana con sede en Quito, y Petroperú, empresa peruana dedicada a la explotación de petróleo, han firmado un acuerdo de cooperación en el sector de hidrocarburos, según ha anunciado Petroecuador el 20 de diciembre de 2016.

En concreto, las compañías han firmado un Convenio Marco de Intercambio de Conocimientos y Buenas Prácticas en el sector hidrocarburos, con una vigencia de cinco años y la posibilidad de renovarlo por dos periodos similares.

El acuerdo ha sido firmado por el presidente de Petroperú, Luis Eduardo García Rosell, y por el gerente general de Petroecuador, Pedro Merizal de Pavón.
