Petrobras (BVMF: ptr3; BME: XPBR; NYSE: PBRA), Brazil's state oil company, sent prospectus to sell BR Distribuidora, reported the company itself in Fato Relevante on October 3, 2016. According to it, the companies that received the prospectus were selected based on objective criteria, with the assistance of the financial institution hired to run the process. The sale will be held in corporate structure, designed to ensure Petrobras the majority of BR Distribuidora and keep its 49% of voting shares. Petrobras had previously announced its intention to sell BR Distribuidora (see related Intels).

A Petrobras (BVMF:PTR3; BME:XPBR; NYSE:PBRA), petrolífera estatal brasileira, enviou um prospecto aos interessados em comprar a BR Distribuidora, segundo publicou a própria empresa em Fato Relevante do dia 03 de outubro de 2016. Segundo a companhia, a seleção de empresas que receberam o prospecto foi realizada com base em critérios objetivos, em conjunto com a instituição financeira contratada para assessorar o processo de venda. A venda vai ser realizada em uma estrutura societária que visa a assegurar à Petrobras a maioria do capital total da BR Distribuidora, mantendo 49% do capital votante.
