Petrobras (BM&F BOVESPA: PTR3, PETR4, PBRA; BMAD: XPBR, XPBRA; NYSE: PBR, PBRA), the state-owned Brazilian oil company, appointed the CEO of Rio de Janeiro-based mining company, Vale, Murilo Ferreira, as the new president of its board of directors, reported Valor on 29 April, 2015.

New board members Luiz Nelson Guedes de Carvalho, Roberto Castelo Branco and Segen Faria Stefan were also appointed.

Minority shareholders are now represented by Walter Mendes Filho and Guilherme Affonso Ferreira, while Deyvid Bacelar becomes the representative of the employees on the board.

También fueron electos nuevos miembros del directorio: Luiz Nelson Guedes de Carvalho, Roberto Castelo Branco y Segen Faria Stefan.
