Penta Security, a Chile-based auto insurance company, and Grupo Security (BCS:SECURITY), a financial services provider, announced the new configuration of its board of directors in a filing published by regulator Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros on 14 January, 2016. Board members Alfredo Moreno Charme, Carlos Délano Méndez, Francisco Lavin Chadwick, Renato Peñafiel Muñoz, Francisco Silva Silva, Alejandro Alzérreca Luna, and Juan Carlos Délano Ortúzar submitted their resignation. The company appointed Juan Pablo Barahona Flores, Russell Carlson, James Czapla, Thomas Walker, José Luis Honorato San Román, Gonzalo Delaveau Swett, and Javier Barroilhet Diez as their replacements. Barahona was also appointed as president of the board. The changes arise from the acquisition of 99.64% of Penta Security by US-based insurance holding Liberty Mutual (see related transaction).

Penta Security, empresa chilena de seguros automotores, y Grupo Security (BCS:SECURITY), prestadora de servicios financieros, han anunciado la nueva conformación de su directorio en un hecho relevante publicado por la Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros el 14 de enero de 2016. Los directores Alfredo Moreno Charme, Carlos Délano Méndez, Francisco Lavin Chadwick, Renato Peñafiel Muñoz, Francisco Silva Silva, Alejandro Alzérreca Luna y Juan Carlos Délano Ortúzar han presentado su renuncia. Se ha designado como reemplazantes a Juan Pablo Barahona Flores, Russell Carlson, James Czapla, Thomas Walker, José Luis Honorato San Román, Gonzalo Delaveau Swett y Javier Barroilhet Diez. También se ha designado a Barahona como presidente del directorio. Los cambios surgen tras la adquisición adquisición del 99.64% del capital social de Penta Security por parte del holding estadounidense de seguros, Liberty Mutual (ver transacción relacionada). |
