Pennzoil plans Mexico entry with innovative synthetic oils for vehicles

Pennzoil, a car lubricant brand, held by The Netherlands-based Shell, plans to enter the Mexican market with its innovative synthetic oils for vehicles. Jonathan Briceño, Shell's marketing manager for Latin America, said that Mexico is the third market for lubricants in the continent, following the United States and Brazil, and it is very important fro Penzoil to enter the Mexican market. According to Briceño, Mexico consumes approximately 200 million liters of oil per year, of which 8% represents synthetic oils, the fastest growing segment.

La marca de lubricantes automotrices Pennzoil, perteneciente a la compañía neerlandesa Shell, pretende llegar al mercado mexicano con aceites sintéticos innovadores. Jonathan Briceño, marketing manager de Shell para América Latina, ha comunicado que México es el tercer mercado de lubricantes en el continente, después de Estados Unidos y Brasil y que es muy importante para la compañía llegar a este país al representar grandes números de volumen. Según Briceño, en México se consumen aproximadamente 200 millones de litros de aceite al año, de los cuales el sintético representa 8.0 por ciento y es el de mayor crecimiento. |
