O empresário Abilio Diniz, da família fundadora do Grupo Pão de Açúcar, disse que certamente deve fechar alguma operação na área de varejo, e que opções têm sido analisadas nesse sentido, por meio de sua empresa de investimentos Península Participações.

Ele afirmou também que além de investir na BRF, o private equity deve investir em mais uma empresa, que ele espera que seja no setor de distribuição.
