Pemex, a Mexico-based state-owned oil company, may have put on the block non-strategic assets in order to capitalize the company, reported El Universal on 13 January 2017, citing the Pemex Annual Real Estate Asset Divestment Program. Specifically, the company may be selling, among its non-productive assets, a sports field and a baseball league in Veracruz, which would be added to the gas stations the company put on the block in 2016 (see related intel). Though the company did not specify the value of the assets, Pemex may have noted the sale follows the company's economic and operational interests.

Pemex, petrolera estatal mexicana, estaría ejecutando la venta de activos no estratégicos con el objetivo de capitalizar la compañía, según ha informado El Universal el 13 de enero de 2017, citando el Programa Anual de de Enajenación de Bienes Inmuebles de Pemex. En concreto, la compañía habría puesto en venta, dentro de sus activos no productivos, un campo deportivo y una liga de béisbol de Veracruz, que se sumarían a las gasolineras que la compañía ha puesto a la venta en 2016 (ver Intel relacionado). Aunque no se detallan montos por las transacciones de estos activos, Pemex habría especificado que esta venta atiende a los intereses económicos y operativos de la compañía. |
