Panama and Israel finalized the fourth round of negotiations to sign a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), reported Inversión y Finanzas on 22 November 2015, citing Minister of Commerce and Industry of Panama, Melitón Arrocha.

Melitón Arrocha said Israel is currently under negotiations with Ministry of Agricultural Development of Panama to build a center of agricultural excellence in the country, which will develop a technology for seeds, irrigation and greenhouses, among others.

The negotiations also covered investments and services, to attract international investment, strengthen telecommunications and financial services, among others.

Panamá e Israel han finalizado la cuarta ronda de negociaciones y firmarán un tratado de libre comercio (TLC), según ha publicado Inversión y Finanzas el 22 de noviembre de 2015, citando al ministro de Comercio e Industrias de Panamá, Melitón Arrocha.

El ministro ha señalado que Israel actualmente negocia con el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agropecuario de Panamá para la construcción de un centro de excelencia agrícola en el país, que desarrollaría tecnología para semillas, riego e invernaderos, entre otros elementos.

En el acuerdo también se ha llegado a la negociación de inversiones y servicios, para atraer la inversión internacional, fortaleciendo las prestaciones de las telecomunicaciones y los servicios financieros, entre otros.

La cuarta ronda de negociaciones se ha llevado a cabo el 17 de noviembre de 2015 (ver radar relacionado).
