Twelve Pacific basin countries finalized talks over the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement to free trade among these countries, reported Reuters Latin America on 5 October, 2015. The countries are Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, United States, Vietnam, Chile, Brunei, Singapore, and New Zealand. The agreement will reduce tariff barriers and introduce common standards for the 12 countries, which represent 40% of the global economy. The agreement is subject to approval from the United States Congress and from legislators from other countries.

Doce países de la cuenca del Pacífico han cerrado las negociaciones del Acuerdo Estratégico Trans-Pacífico de Asociación Económica para liberar el comercio entre dichos países, ha publicado Reuters América Latina el 5 de octubre de 2015. Los países son Australia, Canadá, Japón, Malasia, México, Perú, Estados Unidos, Vietnam, Chile, Brunei, Singapur y Nueva Zelanda. El acuerdo reducirá las barreras arancelarias y establecerá estándares comunes para los 12 países, que representan 40% de la economía global. El acuerdo está sujeto a aprobación del Congreso de Estados Unidos y de legisladores de otros países. |
