French telecommunications company Orange (NYSE;Euronext:ORA), held by group France Telecom, could start operating in Brazil through its operations subsidiary Orange Business Services, in 2016. The information was published by newspaper Valor Econômico on 8 June 2015. Orange's team is analyzing this possibility, since the company would need a mobile virtual network operator license (MVNO) from Anatel, the Telecommunications Agency. Brazil's MVNO model stipulates that Orange establishes a partnership with the infrastructure company through which it would operate.
