US-based Orange Air has shown interest in flying to Mexico, according to the low-cost airline's president Jeffrey Stern, in an article published by El Financiero on 2 July 2015. Orange Air considers opening new routes from 40 US cities, from which at least 16 would fly to Cancun and the rest to Central America and the Caribbean islands, such as Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. Jeffrey Stern said the company expects to have a fleet of 20 aircrafts, after initiating the program with only three airplanes.

La estadounidense Orange Air ha mostrado su interés en transporte de viajeros en México, según el presidente de la aerolínea de bajo coste, Jeffrey Stern, en El Financiero el 2 de julio de 2015. La aerolínea contempla abrir conexiones con 40 ciudades de Estados Unidos, de las cuales al menos 16 conectarían en forma directa con Cancún y el resto con sitios de Centroamérica y el Caribe, como República Dominicana y Costa Rica. El presidente de la compañía ha comentado que como parte de las expectativas esperan contar con una flota de 20 aviones, tras iniciar con apenas tres aeronaves. |
