Oaktree Capital Management (NYSE:OAK), The Student Hotel (TSH), and Round Hill Capital showed interest in acquiring student residences in Spain, reported El Economista on 29 March, 2016, citing director of alternative investment at US-based consulting firm JLL, Nick Wrid. Wrid noted the profitability of these properties could be between 6% and 6.5% for the ones in the best locations. If the residences do not meet the companies' criteria, they could carry out several developments. Favourite destinations are Madrid and Barcelona. Should there be no stock of buildable land plots, the change of use is another of the strategies analyzed by the investors.

Oaktree Capital Management (NYSE:OAK), The Student Hotel (TSH) y Round Hill Capital han mostrado interés en la compra de residencias de estudiantes en España, según ha publicado el diario El Economista el 29 de marzo de 2016, basándose en declaraciones de Nick Wride, director de Inversiones Alternativas de JLL. Nick Wrid ha indicado que la rentabilidad de estos inmuebles podría situarse entre el 6% y el 6,5% para las que estén mejor ubicadas. En el supuesto de que las residencias no se ajusten a los criterios de estos tres fondos, podrían llevar a cabo varias promociones. Los destinos prioritarios son Madrid y Barcelona, y ante la falta de stock de terrenos urbanizables, el cambio de uso es otra de las fórmulas que analizan los inversores. |
