Banco de Portugal (BdP) would have received a new bid from Aethel Partners for the purchase of the Novo Banco, reported Dinheiro Vivo on 27 February 2017. The bid of Aethel Partners came a few days after Banco de Portugal announced that it started an exclusive negotiation with the US-based Lone Star fund for the sale of Novo Banco (see related Intel). According to the news, Aethel Partners would have sent a letter of intent that may represent up to EUR 4m by the financial institution. Aethel Partners had already expressed interest in Novo Banco (see related intel).

O Banco de Portugal (BdP), instituição financeira portuguesa, teria recebido uma nova posposta da Aethel Partners para a compra do Novo Banco, segundo publicou o Dinheiro Vivo no dia 27 de fevereiro de 2017. A proposta da Aethel Partners chega poucos dias depois de o Banco de Portugal ter anunciado que entrou em negociações exclusivas com o fundo norte-americano Lone Star para a venda do Novo Banco (ver Intel relacionado). Segundo a notícia, a Aethel Partners teria entregado uma carta de intenções e que pode representar um montante de até EUR 4m pela instituição financeira.
