Nexo Capital Partners, a US-based private equity firm, and White Mountain, a Chile-based mining company, reached a cooperation agreement to jointly operate a new desalination plant in Chile, announced White Mountain in a press release issued on 19 August, 2015. The mining company will contribute with land, roadway rights, and the environmental license for the construction. Nexo will finance the project. The parties are meeting this week in Santiago, Chile, and at the project site, Cerro Blanco.

La firma estadounidense de private equity Nexo Capital Partners y la minera chilena White Mountain han llegado a un acuerdo de cooperación para gestionar juntos una nueva desaladora en Chile, ha anunciado White Mountain en una nota de prensa el 19 de agosto de 2015. La compañía minera contribuiría con la tierra, derechos de vía y la licencia ambiental para la construcción del proyecto y la firma de private equity proporcionará la financiación del proyecto. Las partes se reúnen esta semana en Santiago y en el lugar del proyecto (Cerro Blanco). |
