NCB Capital Markets, a Kingston, Jamaica-based private equity firm, plans to arrive in the Dominican Republic, reported Jamaica Gleaner on 11 December, 2015, citing CEO, Steven Gooden.

Gooden noted the firm has been analyzing the market in the last year and estimates it will arrive in the Dominican Republic before the end of the financial year, subject to relevant regulatory approvals.

Managing Director Patrick Hylton added the firm still has not decided whether it will enter the new market by acquiring a local company or setting up its operations from scratch.

NCB Capital Markets is already present in Barbados, the Cayman Islands, and Trinidad and Tobago.

NCB Capital Markets, firma de private equity con sede en Kingston, Jamaica, tiene planes para llegar a la República Dominicana, ha publicado Jamaica Gleaner el 11 de diciembre de 2015, citando al CEO de la firma, Steven Gooden.

Gooden ha señalado que la firma ha analizado el mercado durante el último año y estima que llegará a la República Dominicana antes del final del año fiscal, siempre y cuando reciba las aprobaciones regulatorias pertinentes.

El director general, Patrick Hylton, ha añadido que la firma aún no ha decidido si entrará al nuevo mercado mediante la adquisición de una empresa local o montando sus operaciones de cero.
