Madrileña Red de Gas, an infrastructure fund held by Morgan Stanley that groups old distribution assets from former Unión Fenosa and Iberdrola in the Community of Madrid, could start trading from April 2015, through an initial public offering for some EUR 500m. This transaction will target exclusively the institutional market and Morgan Stanley and Citi will be the bookrunners. This IPO could be the alternative finally found by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure after the difficulty in finding a direct buyer to acquire a majority stake in the company's share capital.

Madrileña Red de Gas, la empresa controlada por el fondo de infraestructuras de Morgan Stanley que aglutina los activos de distribución de la antigua Unión Fenosa y de Iberdrola en la Comunidad de Madrid, podría comenzar a cotizar en bolsa a partir de abril de 2015 tras una oferta pública de suscripción por un importe de cerca de EUR 500m. La operación estará dirigida de manera exclusiva al mercado institucional y tendrá al propio banco americano y a Citi como entidades colocadoras. La salida a bolsa podría ser la alternativa acordada finalmente por Morgan Stanley Infrastructure tras la dificultad para encontrar un comprador directo que quisiera asumir la propiedad mayoritaria de la compañía. |
