Minerva's CFO, Edison Ticle, said the sale of its subsidiary Minerva Dawn Farms (MDF) is among company's options to fulfill the agreement with the competition authority Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (CADE) to acquire cattle assets held by BRF. The agreement with CADE states that BRF has to sell its stake, both direct and indirect, in MDF. To carry this out there are two extreme options; one is the sale of MDF and the other is a corporate agreement through which BRF exits MDF's share capital.

O diretor financeiro da Minerva, Edison Ticle, afirmou que a venda da subsidiária Minerva Dawn Farms (MDF) está entre as opções que a companhia possui para cumprir o acordo estabelecido com o Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (CADE) para a compra dos ativos de bovinos da BRF. O acordo com o CADE prevê que a BRF tem que deixar de ter participação acionária, direta ou indiretamente, na MDF. Para isso temos duas opções extremas: uma é a venda de 100% da companhia e a outra é um acordo societário, tirando a BRF da MDF. |
