US-based Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) appointed María Garaña as new vice president for EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), as reported by Europa Press in an article on 13 May 2015. This new role will mean leading the operations, sales, marketing and management of partners relations with Microsoft business solutions for EMEA region. Maria Garaña will leave her post as president of Microsoft's Spanish subsidiary, and Pilar López Alvarez, former CEO of Telefónica (BME: TEF) will replace her.

La empresa estadounidense Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) ha nombrado como nueva vicepresidenta de la región EMEA (Europa, Oriente Medio y África) a María Garaña, según ha comunicado Europa Press en una información del día 13 de mayo de 2015. El nuevo cargo supone ser la máxima responsable de las operaciones, ventas, marketing y gestión de las relaciones con los socios del negocio de soluciones empresariales de Microsoft para la región EMEA A su vez María Garaña dejará su puesto como presidenta de la filial española de Microsoft, y éste será ocupado por Pilar López Álvarez, exdirectiva de Telefónica (BME: TEF). |
