Mexico’s ministry of transport and communications launches elevated highway tender

Mexico’s ministry of transport and communications (SCT) launched a tender for the construction of an elevated highway in Mexico City, reported El Financiero on 1 June, 2015. The viaduct will connect Insurgentes Norte Ave with the México-Pachuca highway, and will extend for 9.5 km, beginning at Indios Verdes, in Mexico City. The tender will be implemented through a public-private partnership and will award permits for exploitation of the roadway, as well as a 30-year concession to operate. The terms of the tender will be available until 23 August, 2015. The tender is expected to be awarded in October, 2015, the report stated. According to the national infrastructure program (PNI), the project will require an investment of approximately MXN 5.56bn.

La Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) de México ha lanzado la licitación para la construcción de un viaducto en México D.F., ha publicado El Financiero el 1 de junio de 2015. El viaducto conectará la avenida Insurgentes Norte con la autopista México-Pachuca, tendrá 9,5 km de longitud y comenzará en Indios Verdes, en México D.F. La licitación será a través de un sistema de asociación público privada y otorgará los permisos para la explotación de la vialidad, al igual que la concesión para operar el viaducto durante 30 años. Las bases de la licitación estarán disponibles hasta el 23 de agosto de 2015. Se espera que la licitación sea adjudicada en octubre de 2015, según lo publicado. De acuerdo con el Programa Nacional de Infraestructura (PNI), el proyecto requerirá una inversión de aproximadamente MXN 5.556m. |
