Elementia, a Mexico-based construction company owned by Antonio del Valle and Carlos Slim, is studying the possibility of carrying out an initial public offering (IPO) on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) to finance its acquisitions and increase its current factory capacity.

Although the financial details were not disclosed, company sources said the IPO could be launched in October 2014, but for the moment nothing is defined.

La Mexicana Elementia, empresa de materiales de construcción propiedad de Antonio del Valle y Carlos Slim, analiza realizar una oferta pública inicial (OPI) en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) para conseguir financiación para adquirir empresas y aumentar la capacidad actual de sus plantas.

Aunque no se han dado detalles sobre la operación, fuentes de la compañía han afirmado que de realizarse, la OPI se lanzaría en octubre de 2014, pero por el momento el monto aún no está definido.
