Peru-based Medrock is interested in entering new markets in Central America after the opening of its new plant in Peru, reported Gestión on 7 September, 2015. The markets it is interested in are Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Haiti, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The company exports 10% of its production to Chile and Ecuador. It is already registered to export to Costa Rica and targets other Central American markets to supply from Peru. With its new Peru-based plant, Medrock expects to double its sales and focuses on high-tech products. The shipments abroad would represent 60% of its sales in a five-year period.

La peruana Medrock ha mostrado su interés por entrar a nuevos mercados en Centroamérica después de la apertura de una nueva planta en Perú, según ha publicado el diario Gestión el 7 de septiembre de 2015. Los mercados en los que están interesados son: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Haití, Uruguay y Paraguay. La empresa exporta el 10% de su producción a Chile y Ecuador. Ya tiene registro para exportar a Costa Rica, y apuntan a otros mercados de Centroamérica, para abastecer desde el Perú. Con su nueva planta en Perú esperan duplicar ventas, y apuestan por productos de alta tecnología. Los envíos al exterior representarían 60% de sus ventas en cinco años. |
