Mediterrània Capital Partners (MCP), a Spain-based private equity firm, will launch its third fund focused on Africa, which will have EUR 250m, reported Mediterrània in a press release issued on 6 March 2017.

Mediterrània Capital III (MC III) will focus its investments on Northern Africa, but will expand its activity to sub-Saharan countries such as Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Cameroon. The firm's portfolio includes companies from a wide range of sectors, such as financial, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, or telecommunications.

The firm estimates the first closing of the fund will occur during 4Q17, with EUR 100m and plans to complete the investment period in three or four years.

Mediterrània Capital Partners (MCP), firma de private equity española, ultima su tercer fondo centrado en África que contará con EUR 250m, según ha informado Mediterrània en una nota de prensa publicada el 6 de marzo de 2017.

Mediterrania Capital III (MC III) mantendrá el foco en inversiones en el Norte de África, pero expandirá su actividad a países subsaharianos como Costa de Marfil, Senegal y Camerún. La cartera de Mediterrània incluye compañías de un amplio rango de sectores como el financiero, farmacéutico, educativo, industrial o de telecomunicaciones.

La firma estima que el primer cierre del fondo se realice durante el último trimestre del año con EUR 100m y prevé completar el periodo de inversión en tres o cuatro años.
