Bermuda-based fund Mandarin Oriental (SGX: M04, LSE: MDO) could be planning to open its third hotel in Spain. Recently, it acquired Ritz Hotel in Madrid, for EUR 130m (see related transaction), as published by eldiario.es on 22 May 2015. The group is considering a vacation resort, which could open in two years, due to the fame of Spanish tourism destinations. The group doubts it will find another emblematic building such as the Ritz. With this last acquisition, Spain is the first European country with two Mandarin Oriental hotels.

El fondo Mandarín Oriental (SGX: M04, LSE: MDO), con sede en Bermudas, podría estar planeando la apertura de un tercer establecimiento hotelero en España tras la adquisición reciente del hotel Ritz en Madrid por EUR 130m (ver transacción relacionada), según ha publicado eldiario.es el día 22 de mayo de 2015. El grupo se decanta por un complejo vacacional, que podría ver la luz en dos años, por la fama de los destinos turísticos españoles, ya que dudan en encontrar otros edificios emblemáticos como el Ritz. Con la última compra, España es el primer país europeo con dos establecimientos pertenecientes a Mandarín Oriental. |
