Synopsis

Malaysia's Minister of International Trade and Industry, Mustapa Mohamed, will lead a trade mission to Mexico on 19 May, with several local companies, aiming to analyze investment opportunities in Mexico, as reported by newspaper El Economista on May 10, 2016 , citing commercial advisor to the Malaysian Embassy in Mexico, Bieyka Jimenez.

Specifically, the business mission is constituted by 12 Malaysian companies engaged in the aerospace, automotive, telecommunications and construction sectors, among others.

Malaysia and Mexico are part of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a free trade agreement signed on February 4 by the ministers of both countries and their counterparts in the other partner countries: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, United States , Japan, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam (see related Intel).

El ministro de Comercio Internacional e Industria de Malasia, Mustapa Mohamed, encabezará una misión comercial a México el 19 de mayo con diversas empresas del país, con el objetivo de analizar posibilidades de inversión en México, según ha informado El Economista el 10 de mayo de 2016, citando a la asesora comercial de la Embajada de Malasia en México, Bieyka Jiménez.

En concreto, la misión empresarial estará conformada por 12 empresas malayas de los sectores aeroespacial, automotriz, telecomunicaciones y construcción, entre otros.

Malasia y México forman parte del Acuerdo de Asociación Transpacífico (TPP), un tratado de libre comercio firmado el 4 de febrero por los ministros de ambos países y por sus contrapartes de los otros países socios: Australia, Brunei, Canadá, Chile, Estados Unidos, Japón, Nueva Zelanda, Perú, Singapur y Vietnam (ver Intel relacionado).
