Brazil-based Makro Brasil, a subsidiary of Dutch company Makro, changed president by order of its parent company. The new president will be French executive David Poussier, who will replace Roger Laughlim. The decision was due to Makro's dissatisfaction with Makro Brasil's revenues and its market share. David Poussier, has been with Makro since 1999, and was president of Makro in Peru. In addition, before assuming the role as president, Poussier spent three months in Makro Brasil, as a transition stage.

A Makro Brasil, subsidiária da holandesa Makro, mudou de presidente por ordens de sua matriz. O novo executivo que assumiu o cargo foi o francês David Poussier, substituindo ao antigo presidente Roger Laughlim. A decisão de realizar uma mudança na presidência da filial brasileira foi consequência da insatisfação da Makro com os resultados obtidos pela Makro Brasil, que vem nos últimos tempos perdendo cota de mercado. O novo presidente David Poussier, que leva formando parte do grupo Makro desde 1999, já teve o mesmo cargo na filial da rede atacadista no Peru. Além disso antes de assumir as funções como presidente, Poussier, passou três meses na filial brasileira para uma fase de transição. |
