Madero, a Paraná, Brazil-based restaurant chain, is close to selling 15% of its business to a private equity fund, reported Exame on 12 December 2016, citing Madero Founder Junior Durski. According to the report, Itaú BBA is Madero's adviser and the negotiations are advanced. The goal is to raise capital to pay off the debt with HSI and to expand the company. Madero has 84 restaurants in Brazil and the US and estimated revenues of BRL 441m. By 2017, the chain expects to open 40 new restaurants, as well as a profit increase of 64% and new staff.

A rede Madero de restaurantes está próxima de fechar a venda de 15% do negócio para um fundo de private equity, de acordo com publicação da revista Exame em 12 de dezembro de 2016, que cita o proprietário da marca Junior Durski. Segundo a notícia, as negociações, intermediadas pelo Itaú BBA, estão adiantadas e o objetivo é levantar capital para saldar a dívida com a gestora HSI e expandir ainda mais a empresa. A rede Madero, com sede no estado do Paraná, possui 84 restaurantes no Brasil e nos EUA, e faturamento estimado de BRL 441m. Para 2017, a rede prevê 40 novos restaurantes, estima um aumento no faturamento de 64% e no quadro de funcionários. |
