Chile-based Larraín Vial, engaged in financial a brokerage services, is planning the opening of a first private equity fund in Colombia, named Victus Colombia. According to the company's president, Maria José Ramírez, they are only waiting for the approval from Financial Authorities, which could be granted in the next two months. Ramírez said the fund will invest in agro-industrial crops and the investment could be some USD 50m.

La compañía chilena Larraín Vial, dedicada a ofrecer servicios financieros y bursátiles, poseerá en Colombia su primer fondo de capital privado, Victus Colombia. Según la presidenta de la firma en Colombia, María José Ramírez, ha comunicado que solo falta la aprobación de la Superintendencia Financiera, que podría concedérsela en unos dos meses. La directiva manifestó que el fondo invertirá en cultivos agroindustriales y que dicha inversión podría rondar los USD 50m. |
