Cement companies Lafarge and Holcim, as a result of their eminent merger, are planing the sale of assets. The financial details have not been disclosed. The companies are already negotiating with possible buyers, but they still need approval from regulatory authorities. They intend to sell factories and grinding plants located in France, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. They also plan sales in Canada, Mauritius Islands, Philippines and Brazil. In Brazil, Lafarge and Holcim proposed to CADE the sale of three factories and two grinding plants located in the South East of the country.

As cimenteiras já estão em andamento nas negociações com possíveis compradores, mais ainda precisam da aprovação dos órgaõs regulatórios. Pretendem se desfazer de usinas e estações de moagem localizadas na França, Alemanha, Hungria, Romênia, Sérvia,Eslováquia e Reino Unido. Também planejam vendas no Canadá, Ilhas Maurício, Filipinas e Brasil. No Brasil as empresas propuseram ao Cade a alienação de três fábricas e duas estações de moagem, todas localizadas na região Sudeste do país. |
