La entidad financiera jamaicana Development Bank of Jamaica ha anunciado la creación de un fondo de venture capital que estará listo para abril de 2014. La iniciativa forma parte del plan Jamaica Venture Capital Programme, que cuenta con la colaboración del Gobierno jamaicano. Además, la entidad tiene como objetivo proveer de liquidez a nuevos fondos de venture capital que puedan surgir en los próximos meses en el país caribeño, así como realizar inversiones propias en diferentes sectores. |
