Kerui, a Dongying, China-based petroleum equipment and services company, stated it plans to carry out more investments in Colombia and is seeking a local partner or ally, reported Portafolio on 26 October, 2015, citing Kerui president, He Shicong. Shicong noted Kerui wants to set up a company with mixed capital in Colombia, joining a local company. He added it seeks to work more closely with the Colombian government and cooperate with oil companies operating in the country. Kerui is present in Colombia since 2007 and is investing USD 50m in research in the country.
