O Jockey Club de São Paulo, que administra o hipódromo de Cidade Jardim, estaria avaliando a venda de seus imóveis para reduzir sua dívida, segundo publicou o Valor Econômico em 23 de fevereiro de 2016.

De acordo com a publicação, as dívidas do Jockey Club de São Paulo ultrapassam BRL 48m, e principal saída oferecida pelo atual comando do clube é a venda de imóveis, entre eles um atualmente locado para uma grande rede de lojas de móveis, um posto de gasolina e o Centro de Treinamento de Campinas, que consome, por ano, BRL 1,2m apenas em manutenção.
