Eight companies and one coffee production association in Japan will participate next Friday in a meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Neri Geller, in Brasília, to state their interest in investing in railways, highways, waterways and ports. According the Minister of Agriculture, the Japanese investors have a great potential to work in Brazil and help resolve infrastructure bottlenecks. One of the companies that was here has invested USD 500m in Porto de Itaqui (MA) and another one states it has a USD 140bn insurance offer to support infrastructure companies, said the Minister.

Oito empresas e uma associação de produtores de café do Japão participaram nesta sexta-feira de uma reunião com o ministro da Agricultura, Neri Geller, em Brasília, na qual manifestaram interesse em investir em ferrovias, rodovias, hidrovias e portos. Segundo o ministro da Agricultura, os investidores japoneses têm grande potencial de atuar no Brasil para ajudar a resolver gargalos de infraestrutura. Apenas uma das empresas que estiveram aqui já investiu USD 500m no Porto de Itaqui (MA) e outra disse ter USD 140bi em oferta de seguros para auxiliar empresas de infraestrutura, afirmou o ministro. |
