J. García López Casas Funerarias, a Mexico City-based funeral home, plans to expand its services to the United States and Cuba in 2018, reported El Financiero on 13 December, 2015, citing the company's managing director, Oscar Padilla.

Padilla noted the company already provides funeral assistance services to Mexican migrants to the US and to their families. However, he added the funeral home expects to arrive in the US market with its own facilities by 2018, in states where there's a higher presence of Mexican citizens, such as California, Arizona, Illinois, and Texas.

He also noted the funeral home wants to launch branches in Cuba, to take advantage of the opening of economic borders in the island.

J. García López Casas Funerarias, con sede en México D.F., planea expandir sus servicios a Estados Unidos y Cuba en 2018, ha publicado El Financiero el 13 de diciembre de 2015, citando al director general de la empresa, Oscar Padilla.

Padilla ha señalado que la empresa ya ofrece servicios de asistencia funeraria a los migrantes mexicanos a Estados Unidos y a sus familias. Sin embargo, ha agregado que la funeraria espera llegar al mercado estadounidense con instalaciones propias para 2018, en estados donde hay mayor presencia de ciudadanos mexicanos, como California, Arizona, Illinois y Texas.

También ha declarado que la funeraria quiere llevar sucursales a Cuba, para aprovechar la apertura de las fronteras económicas de la isla.
